Cost will be approximately $45-55/person for the entire weekend and could potentially be lower depending on the number of people that RSVP. Our total is $581.49. BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED WITH THIS ONE (see Food below).

We will be staying in the Indian House Bluff Cottage, There are 2 queen beds, 1 small single bed, a set of bunk beds and a pull-out couch. There is also plenty of floor space for sleeping bags. Linens for the beds and towels are provided. There is running water and a bathroom.

Check out their map and directions on how to get there are on their website. The directions will get you to their house....but to get to the Indian House Bluff Cottage where we are staying: go past their mailbox and sign located on County Road 511. Instead of turning to the left there at their lane, continue on down 511 for another 1/4 mile to the next left. To identify it, there will be a small sign that says "00015" on it. Turn left there and follow the lane about another 1/4 mile. The light will be on.

GPS Coordinates (of our cottage) N38 02.704 W91 56.776

Food You are responsible for your lunches and dinner. All plates, pots, pans, silverware are provided with the cabin. The house also has a stove, fridge and charcoal grill. A "hearty" breakfast is provided in the cost of the cabin. The owners stock the kitchen with bagels, cream cheese, eggs, bacon, coffee and juice.

Trails Our access to Fort Leonard Wood is always pending, but should not be a problem. Please be aware that our vehicles will be subject to search once we arrive on base. Also in the past we have had to show current ID, vehicle registration and proof of insurance to gain clearance to base. Please come prepared with these items. It's also probably a good idea to leave the firearms at home.

Several of us have GPS units with topo software that shows the trails there. In addition, we have a district map from the Forest Ranger which shows the trails and public/private land designations for the Mark Twain National Forest in that area.

Pets No more than two dogs are allowed. All dogs must be housebroken, wearing a flea collar, stay off the furniture and cannot be left unattended in the cabin. Please let Steve know if you plan on bringing a dog.

RSVP The following info is due to Steve  (El Jefe) by Friday, January 17 at noon:

1. Will you be attending?
2. How many will you be bringing?

As I get more detail about who is attending this trip, I will add it to this page, as well as information about who is leaving when so we can convoy together.
